Thai Tea Powder


Thai Tea is the quintessential drink of Thailand. Black tea leaves are roasted with spices like cinnamon and star anise, and Hong’s secret is to add extra bael fruit, which gives this authentic recipe a deeper, sweeter aroma. 

There are two ways that Thais use this tea 1) Cha Nom Yen, which means tea with milk—in this case condensed milk, evaporated milk, or another milk of your choice 2) Cha Dum Yen, which means black tea typically with lime or seasonal fruits.
