Laab Chili Seasoning


A Northern Thai staple, Hong’s Laab Seasoning is a blend of 13 spices and herbs including lemongrass, galangal, cardamom, and star anise. It’s traditionally used to season a ground meat such as pork, chicken, or beef, or vegan products like tofu or mushrooms, and eaten with sticky rice. “The aroma represents every one of my favorite childhood memories in Chiang Mai,” says Hong. A versatile spice mix, Laab can even be used to season steak, burgers, fries, and more.
